Not specifically, because it's not something I've looked into for a long time. But most operating systems have *some* mechanism for scheduling a callback (i.e., a function invoked by something outside your app, like the OS itself) at a specific time, when precise timing is needed. To do this on the Mac, for example, you'd have to begin by spending some time digging through Apple's documentation (at developer.apple.com), unless you're lucky enough to find someone who has done it recently.
