Sure, but its not that much!  The code I posted does more than just open a
pict - it will scale and center (there a bit more for the centering vectors)
vector or bitmap picts into a canvas.  I think you were pretty close with
your code actually, I was just trying to show you how I was doing it so youd
have something to compare to.

You can have your users do the copy and resave as bmp bit, of course.  With
a little work, I bet you could have working the way you want though.
