Interresting, just as I was thinking of porting GDK to LibGGI.
Now it looks like there's actually a chance it might get done. ;)

Let me know if you manage to generate a configure script for the
CVS version of GTK+. I get the most obscure things I've seen so
far, and I have dealt a lot with autoconf...
Maybe I should try downgrading to automake 1.4.

You'll want to use LibXMI, replacing the mi layer code in the GTK
fbdev port, and if the "simple windowing implementation" works I
suggest we simply use that. If it doesn't work we might as well
bring LibGWT up to do the task. LibWMH which was also mentioned has
no relation to a GTK-on-GGI port.
