First I just typed "modprobe kgicon" and saw the error
"mtrr: base(0xe6000000) is not aligned on a size(0xfe0000) boundary"

No errors occur after calling "modprobe kgicon kgicon_mttr=0"

So the monitor description should do for 640x480 ?!
