Stefan and GGI developers, I have three simple propositions to make. 1) Move GGI to sourceforge. This is the perfect environment for open software creation. No more "anon cvs is borked" emails. Plus GGI becomes more visible to the rest of the programming community. First rate service at a very good price. 2) Make it the explicit goal of the GGI project to implement either the QT toolkit or GTK. The fact of the matter is, most graphical software is written for KDE or GNOME. This is quality software and it's not going to go away. If this is done in conjunction with Berlin I say fine, let's do it together. 3) Find somebody to do the following tasks: a) Oversee proposition 1. b) Draw up a tasklist for proposition #2 complete WITH a timetable c) Communicate with project members and maintain correspondence to see that goals are met. Let me finish by saying, if Andreas and the rest of you guys accepted me, I would be willing to be that somebody. I am certainly not the most competent or experienced programmer here but I do have time and I like to think they gave me a masters degree in General Relativity because I had some brains. I welcome a large response. -- Lee Brown Jr. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
