I stongly disagree. GGI's goal is totally different from that of typical toolkits.
It might be interesting to add region management (a la gwt) to get closer to the
functionality of X. But higher level stuff like toolkits are really an entirely
different kind of animal.
I really like the goal of the ggi project as it is now, i.e. unified (and accelerated,
if possible) access to graphics hardware.

as I outlined earlier, I think the tasklist is already quite full, given the
restricted time all GGI core developers seem to have. Nothing against new requested
tasks, of course. But the proliferation of new ideas in the context of unfinished
existing work was always something which worried me in this project. I think this is
at the heart of my criticism.

and generally, provide an open access to these discussions (task list, bug management,
