Hmm - a few things I can think of right now ...

legoterm - after that plastic building blocks. Also makes for a nice Icon.
           lego could be explained as "lightweight, extensible, generic,
           open". But not very cool ...

Hmm - iceterm - might be confused as an "eterm for icewm"

oh wait ... Thermite ? Wait ... is that an english word ?
Thermit is a German word for a chemical welding agent, that burns very hot
... bright, sparkling, handy as you need no external power source, ...

Termite would also work, but well ... it's just an insect ...

exterminate - kind of a Mission statement to all other terminal emulators
... :-)

interm - the term that's "in" ? 

ginaterm - ginaterm is not a terminal - it's way cooler. old plot reheated
... not good.

attack - A Terminal That has A Cool Keeper
