Let the child open with GGI_AUTO or values it has chosen, and when
it does a checkmode, send a request for the geometry over an IPC
communications channel to the parent, which sends back an answer as
to the supported mode. The parent can configure the child that way
without any environment tricks. Much cleaner. (But should be optional,
for dumber SHM parents)
Then, the -physz option/GGI_MODE is only when you want to ignore what
the parent has to say about the physical size or insist on a particular
mode.
Eventually, though, we should add physical size into the mode string,
when we decide to start supporting negotiation based on physical size
(right now we just reject modes with size != GGI_AUTO/GGI_AUTO unless they
happen to match the known/provided physical size.)
