I don't like it either, but I checked a few forums and it appears that
this is a bug in recent version of autoconf. I'll need to downgrade
the package...
Anyway, the normal user is not supposed to have the auto* tools
installed at all. The package should contain a working configure
script, generated by the developers. So I'd say this is not really
an issue for the prerelease.
