Unless somebody has ported this to Gtk2, and is maintaining it independantly, this statement is false for Gimp > 1.2. It was removed from CVS (with no complaints) on 2004-05-07. I'd be happy to reintroduce it if somebody does do the work (or maybe even port it if I get interest).
