Hi,
I installed Gimp 1.2 on my Sun SPARCstation 20. It built fine, but
after a 'make install' many of the directories were read only to root.
Hence as soon as a user tried to run it, the programme complained about
a missing
/usr/local/share/gimp/1.2/user_install
Once that was sorted out, so it became apparent other directories had
the same problem, so none of the plugins would load. Again this did not
take long to sort out, but I assume this is not intentional ??
