creating animated gifs

Hi,


I have a hundred gif images in my current directory, they have been
automatically generated, are almost all identical, are in alphabetcical
order, and I want to make an animation with them. Is it possible to this
in an automated fashion with gimp ?

I have almost now knowledge about scripting with gimp. I only did some
minor editing with it.
