Hmmm... I used to do (and still do) such not-recommended thing,
i.e. keeping git/gitweb/TODO etc. in git/gitweb/.git repository,
while having git/gitweb/gitweb.perl in git/.git repository.

So my (admittedly strange) setup will stop working?
