I see in your JIRA you say you want to have diverts separated, this already works, in fact i know a few orgs where this is done successfully. If you are running lint tools, for validation as per the aforementioned docs, " Note: if you use xmllint to validate the XML against the schema you should enable xinclude flag when running. --xinclude " As such if you're using an IDE you just need to add this to your lint'ing. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
