I added the file that Skif-off posted, and added a line to _filetype_extensions.conf_, but it didn't work. I put the file in _~/.config/geany/filedefs_, first as _filetype.Jal.conf_ and then as _filetype.jal.conf_ in case it's case-sensitive. Reloaded Geany, but it didn't highlight anything in my JAL code file.
