Review Comment:
```
/// Extends the buffer with a new item, without checking for sufficient
capacity
/// # Safety
/// Caller must ensure that the capacity()-len()>=`size_of<T>`()
#[inline]
pub unsafe fn push_unchecked<T: ToByteSlice>(&mut self, item: T) {
let additional = std::mem::size_of::<T>();
let src = item.to_byte_slice().as_ptr();
let dst = self.data.as_ptr().add(self.len);
std::ptr::copy_nonoverlapping(src, dst, additional);
self.len += additional;
}
```
The implementation of `push_unchecked` also calls
`std::ptr::copy_nonoverlapping`, so I don't think this approach can bring
better performance.
