Thanks @alamb — yes, ready from my side. Since @etseidl's approval the only change is the comment reword you asked for above, plus a merge of main; CI is finishing the last few jobs. One behaviour change worth naming before merge: a corrupt dictionary in a chunk that is never read no longer errors, since those bytes are never touched. No wrong data is returned — anything that decodes a value still decodes the dictionary and still errors.
