Review Comment:
   Lets log the values as well. Also, nit: `Using the input value, you can 
override this behavior ...` makes it sound like using an input you can 
override, maybe just split these into separate sentences.

Review Comment:
   Could we make this behavior configurable? If we try to enrich and no result 
is found, it will sometimes make sense to throw, it will sometimes make sense 
to log, and it will sometimes make sense to no-op, so maybe allow that behavior 
to be specified with an enum?
