@haochunchang Thanks for going through this so carefully, and for reproducing the before/after yourself. You're right that the note was stale: #25402 has merged, so the `min`/`max` schema mismatch is fixed and this PR is just the duplicate-sort-key part on top of it. I've rewritten that section of the description.
