I do want B indeed. The comment you quoted was meant to say "if you don't
do segmentation, then you might as well remove the whole thing."
I'll take a shot at implementing it, but my GHC-fu is quite rusty; it's
been 10 years now that the original version was implemented. I trust GHCHQ
will help me out if I get stuck.
