Quick update for anyone who is following this. I replied to Fiona
through the ticket system yesterday morning (10-6-08). Their proposal
is I ship back my glasses and then they replace the lens at a cost of
$98.00 to me. They are giving me half price on the replacement lens.

I proposed to them that I just order a new pair of glasses and they
pass that discount on to me on that pair (they would have the lens I
want that changes color). This seems to be a better deal for them and
me. They don't have to do extra labor of lens removal and replacement
on my glasses that are already paid for.
I don't have to pay $350.00 for a $250.00 pair of glasses. I get to
keep the pair that is tinted permanently as sunglasses I guess. Plus I
won't have to wait for the double shipping. They also get to sell
another frame which equals a bit more profit. They would also have
a :-) customer.

I would be happy with this, but Fiona did not respond over night.
Maybe she was out sick. The time difference is challenging. I will
keep you all posted.
I am confident things will work out, she seems reasonable so far.
