I now have four pairs from Zenni, from two orders. Both orders arrived
in less than three weeks.
The first order was for three pair:
1. Rimless memory ti, progressive, anti-reflective (my primary all-day
glasses)
2. Memory ti, progressive, tinted, anti-reflective (primary
sunglasses)
3. Ti, single-strength, tinted, antireflective (spare prescription
sunglasses)
I think I paid about $165 for the entire order, which was filled in
about 12 business days and was completely correct. This was in early
September, 3 months ago.
I'm happy with all three pairs, which probably would have cost $900
from a local shop. However, I'm keeping an eye on the first pair,
which I wear all day, because I'm seeing a little bit of green
discoloration where the stems rest against the skin of my temples. I
tend to corrode glasses very quickly ("stainless" steel? Ha!), which
is why I now use nothing but plastic or ti. My old ($400) ti frames
were spotless after three years. These, I'm not so sure.
Last month I ordered "computer glasses" from Zenni. I'm a video editor
who spends entire days staring at monitors, and it was like a light
came down from heaven when I learned I could configure glasses that
would free me from the "progressive slot" and let me move my eyes
without having to move my whole head. Isn't it odd that no
ophthalmologist or optometrist ever suggested this to me!
These were a mere $45 (memory ti, AR) from Zenni, and they have
changed my life.
Zenni. I'm a believer.
