(sorry if this is a double post, I accidentally hit tab ::blush::)
Hi, I am in the market for some new glasses and I was thrilled to find
all of the information about how much you can save by purchasing
online. I do have a couple questions as I don't want to screw anything
up with my first order.
This is my prescription information:
sphere cyl axis prism acuity
O.D. -5.75 -- -- -- 20/20
O.S. -4.75 -- -- -- 20/20 +2
I also called my eye doctor and asked for the PD measurement just to
see what they had on record. They said it was 31 for each eye which I
am guessing means 62 total? But I measured with the dry eraser marker
on my glasses and I got 64.5 each time standing an arm's length from
my bathroom mirror. My last pair of lenses was 2.5 years ago and I am
30 years old currently. Should I trust my own measurements? I don't
want to end up looking cross-eyed trying to focus in my new frames!
Also I have noticed several different options for the lenses. With my
prescription should I be paying to go up to thinner ones or are the
free options still going to work for me?
Thanks for any advice for a newbie!
