The point is not the customs delays (if they in fact are the root cause of these delays) but the disinformation Zenni's call center reps spout. Myself and one of the other posters were told that our glasses had cleared customs and were being readied for retail shipment only to be told the following day that there was a customs hold. It wouldn't add anything to their overhead to be upfront with their customers. The glasses I ordered are not essential (they're sunglasses) and problems do occur but they should be more forthright.
