Yes, Chris. You are correct. To get get single vision lenses, you
would just drop the ADD from the Rx.

Now, let me ask a question. What about your new Rx do you think is not
"thorough and complete" & what about it would make you hesitate in
ordering progressives online? Just wondering, as I've ordered quite a
few progressives online for me and my wife and, other than finding out
that I hate the abberations in polycarbonate lenses, we've had zero
trouble with the progressives we've ordered.
I will add this caveat though...if this is your first pair of
progressives, it does take some getting used to wearing them. Hardest
part for me was accomodating to the fact that you have to turn your
head to focus on something, rather than just turning your eyes.

I'd suggest getting a pair from an online vendor that is known for
it's "spot on" lenses, like Zenni perhaps. Once you have adapted to
wearing them, THEN I'd look into getting my Oakleys reglazed, as
reglazing is a bit more expensive, and you don't want to spend more
"large coin" to find out you're one of the few who just can't adapt to
progressives.
