After a lot of research, I finally ordered my tinted, progressive,
strong Rx glasses from 39 Dollar Glasses. The order was processed June
12th, and that day I received an email saying my order was expected to
ship in 2-4 days. Prior to ordering my glasses, I had checked their
site to see how long I should expect this whole process to take. It
also said 2-4 days.

Nothing yet. I've entered my order # into their "order tracking" page,
and it says:

"Your order's expected ship date is: June 19, 2009 by 8 PM (Eastern
Time)."

This is total BS on their part, because when I emailed them of Friday
6/19 to find out about my glasses, they emailed me back saying that:

"Your order is almost complete. As long as it passes inspection, it
should be shipped by Monday."

Well, Monday came and went, and since I'd received no notice, nothing
from them regarding shipping of my glasses, before going home, I
emailed them again. This time, their email said:

"Your order is being tinted. As long as it passes inspection, it
should be shipped by tomorrow"

Well, today is that "tomorrow". I haven't received (so far) any
shipping notices. Their online tracking still says my glasses were
shipped on 6/19. And much the same as  other people have reported, I
have tried calling them numerous times, with no success even when I've
tried first thing in the morning. Their "online chat" or whatever they
call their live customer help never, ever works. I've tried half a
dozen times, and after a long wait, always get the same message: "no
operators available"

I find this very upsetting. If they had told me  that my glasses would
take 10 days, I would have been OK with it, because I could have
planned accordingly. I'm very disappointed at this company and will
probably not order from them again regardless of the quality of my
glasses. And really, it's their loss - everybody in my family wears
glasses, and they were all excited about possibly buying them online
from now on.
