Zenni is known for 3 things...long shipping times (out of their
control thanks to US customs), minimal communication, and exceptional
quality optics. They've been one of the cheapest sites, too. My own
glasses came from Zenni, and I am thrilled with them...as are many who
I've told about their site. BUT, you know about the long shipping
times, etc, going in...and expect it.

CoastalContacts is a new vendor that has many of the same benefits as
Zenni, including a ridiculously low price (for single vision) but
which, according to reports on this list, has far faster shipping and
much MUCH better communication. I've not tried them, but intend to
when it is time for new glasses.

A shame that you're not pleased with $39. From what I've read, they
generally do good work. Maybe one of the other vendors will do a
better job for you, when it comes time for your family's purchases.
