I'm getting ready to order some glasses online, and I'd like to get
photochromatic lenses. It seems that most places offer photochromatic
lenses, but I can't find much about how they stack up to each other.
Since these will be my main glasses, I need them to be essentially
untinted when I'm indoors. I'm not too concerned about the speed of
the transition, though it'd be nice to have an idea what to expect.

I know that 39$glasses offers real Transitions lenses - does that make
a difference? Even with the new $20 off offer, they're still a lot
more expensive than other places (glasses with Transitions + AR +
shipping is around $100) -- is it worth it?

Goggles4u offers cheap mineral glass photochromatic lenses - for small
prescriptions (<1), does that really make a difference? How about the
quality of the photochromatic effect?

I'm tempted by EyeBuyDirect's 2-for-1 next week - are their
photochromatics any good?

Anyone have any experience with other places?

Thank you,
Adrian
