I must say, so far I am VERY impressed with the customer service from
Eyebuydirect, and even more so since I know they must be swamped
during their sale.

I wrote their customer service asking if the one-sided bifocal was
possible, and they said no problem. Of course its their full bifocal
charge of $19, and I certainly did NOT expect a discount for one side
only. (I figure most of that is setup and handling).
Its a bit of a scarey and manual process to override their automatic
form which REQUIRES bifocal ADD on both sides. ( I requested they
might consider changing that and flag it when only one side is
entered, but not force it).  So I had to inlcude a number on both
sides and then say in the comments to have one side single vision,
then per their e-mail directive, I sent my order number and request to
customer service in addition to explaining what I wanted in the
comments box.

I will keep you posted on what I ACTUALLY get when it arrives....i am
holding my breath a bit on that.
This is great setup for golfers, hikers and sports fishing, and if
this works out I will get braver and probably order a nice tinted
pair.

WOW! EBD Customer service has been responsive!
Final confirmation followup message from them as follows:
"Thank you for contacting EyeBuyDirect and for your order.
We acknowledge receipt of your request to have your one of the pairs
of glasses on your order processed with the Right lens as Bifocals and
the Left lens as Single Vision. We have already notified our
laboratory technicians of this request and have submitted your order
for processing. We will notify you through email when the order has
been completed and shipped out so that you may know when to expect
them."
