I am wearing progressives. I have bought online in the past, but the glasses I am wearing as I type this came from JCPenney, which I cannot really recommend.
But who has bought progressives from online sellers, and what did you buy and how do you like them? I know progressives vary. The older ones had a narrower reading than is advertised on the really really expensive lenses sold at your local shop. Or so they all say as they quote you $350 for your glasses. But what do you get from the online sellers? Do the progressives you got have a good reading and intermediate area? Did you have trouble with the seg height ordering online? Did you upgrade? Some places, like Zinni and maybe 39dollarglasses, have only one kind of progressive lens to sell, though I thought 39dollar had lens options a few months ago. I don't see them now. Some have upgrades available, even name brand at the same prices you might pay at a local store. Even hundreds of dollars. So any endorsements from anyone? Can anyone say they got good performing progressives online from anyone, and were able to adapt to them well? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Check us out at the oft-updated http://glassyeyes.blogspot.com!
