thnx guys for the answers.  My other eye is PLANO (no problem). I
don't need glasses to read in computer but I get red eyes after
reading a lot in it. I am getting used to the glasses and of course I
bought a couple online (saving a lot of money). My fear is that if I
don't keep glasses my prescription might change for worse. I heard
several stories that from a mild prescription went to a much higher in
a couple of years...

I have somehow a clear understanding now...
