Thanks for the replies. It occurs with one eye closed. My prescription is -3.25 with -0.25 astigmatism in one eye.
Lens option was the "Super Thin 1.61 Lenses." I can't find any information on the lens material. Is there a reason Trivex could cause this problem? Base curve looks like the search term I needed to find out more about the flat lens front. Seems that could explain the distortion and why I'm having trouble adjusting. Also, the total width of the frames and the height of the lenses did not match the measurements on the product page. If the width was what it was supposed to be then I don't think it would bother me as much since the distortion is worst at the outer edges. But like this I feel disoriented whenever I turn my head and get a headache when I wear them for more than a few minutes. Still waiting to hear back from them. Called and they said they would have to call back so I emailed instead. Their response was that they would call the next day but they did not.
