I need some sunglasses, so I figured I'd use this as my first online purchase. The problem is, I've come up against the wall of places apparently not offering my cylinder(my left eye is -6.5, the max seems to be -6). Zenni simply doesn't list anything past -6, and glassesshop.com lists -6 and beyond, but after I selected -6.5, it said my cylinder must be between +6 and -6.
Sooo, my question to the group is: am I doing something wrong? Or does nowhere support my prescription?! I sent Zenni an email and I'm thinking about emailing glassesshop too, and any other retailer I can, though from searching I've done it seems a lot of places don't really answer emails. Since it's the weekend I can't really call but I suppose I'll end up calling eventually as well. I'd really rather not play a giant price. I've been really excited about getting glasses for cheaper than usual, but I'm becoming discouraged now that it seems like these retailers don't offer service to me... I never thought my eyesight was -that- bad! Oh, and I've tried searching around to see if anyone else has had this problem and what their solutions were, but I can't seem to find anything about this. If I'm overlooking something, I apologize, but please point me in the right direction.
