Alright, here is my current rx (sorry for not including that in my original post, oops)
OD: sphere -1.50, cylinder -2.25, axis 061 OS: sphere -1.00, cylinder -6.50, axis 156 Zenni told me they won't fill rx with a -6.50 cylinder (but I feel better about Zenni just because they replied -- I'd been reading some things about that being an issue) I was talking to someone about my problem the other day, and he said maybe I should just order a pair using the -6.00 cylinder and see how it worked out. I was afraid to try this because I wasn't sure how that'd affect me, so the other night I went through my papers and found my previous prescription from a few years ago. Apparently back then my cylinder was measured at -6.00. I found my glasses with that rx and wore them for a little bit and I can still see well out of them with my left eye, so I decided to give it a go. While not ideal, I ended up going on to Zenni and buying a test pair of glasses using my current rx with a substituted -6.00 cylinder. I received an email from to confirm my rx, and they're now making the glasses. I hope this works out alright. It was cheap enough that I won't freak out if it's awful, at least Any thoughts will be much appreciated! -- Check us out at the oft-updated http://glassyeyes.blogspot.com!
