Zenni doesn't have any free-form progressives yet AFAIK. Once you've
tried free-form you'll never go back to the older lens types. Coastal
Contacts has a great return policy and their lenses are from a small
shop in California which also is an authorized Seiko shop, but I
couldn't get a confirmation that my lenses will be Seiko. I ordered
from 39dollarglasses and the glasses were fine except gave me a
headache. I took them to LensCrafters and they verified the lenses had
correct Rx. HOWEVER, the PD was off by 6mm! Then I took them to my eye
Dr. and they confirmed the lens PD is only 58mm which is 6mm less than
my PD. So I got an RMA and returned the glasses so they could put
correct lenses and send 'em back. They took 5 days for "inspection"
and then said it passed their inspection and I have to pay 30%
restocking fee. No mention of what PD the lenses have or anything. I
will try to talk to them on Tuesday, but then I may have to file a
dispute with my CC company.
BTW, 39$glasses uses Optical Dynamics' clearLight free-form
progressives. They do have an etching with ID info on the lens. Both
LensCrafters and Opticians office said the lenses are poor quality but
they seemed fine to me. Retail free-forms cost $400+ and clearLight is
about $125 with AR coating.
One more thing, if you don't need free-forms, then Zenni has the best
selection of memory frames and rimless lens shapes to choose from.
