I just got new progressives from a BM local store. My Rx has changed considerably as well.
Basically I cannot see out of the right eye at all - nearly everything except reading is blurry and completely distorted. Not only on the peripheral but everywhere. I cannot see the computer at all. I had an order all set to go for EBD but now I think I need to go back to the local optometrist and see if there is something wrong. It's not an issue of moving my head - I literally cannot see at all in the right eye - it's all blurry. That shouldn't be progressive issue should it? Right Sph: -1.75 Cyl -.75 Axis 107 (new) Sph: -2.0 Cyl -.25 Axis 130 Left Sph: -.25 Cyl -.75 Axis 55 (new) Sph: -.75 Cyl -.25 Axis 65 (old) Clearly my Rx is lower on both eyes but he also changed the Cylinder (what is that exactly) and the Axis. Plus they measured my PD as 66 but I've been using 61 as a PD for 4 years of online ordering and it's always been perfect. In addition they added Prism's to these glasses - 1.00 OT on both (what do they do exactly?) I'm in tears - I cannot see the computer which is the ONE thing I needed. My eyes hurt and I just spent hundreds on glasses I cannot see out of! I don't even know how to make it right...do I figure out what a computer glasses pair would be like and order? My old glasses were bothering me so much on the computer I had to go to the Dr. My eyes would get blurry and I couldn't focus. Any ideas are appreciated. -- Check us out at the oft-updated http://glassyeyes.blogspot.com! You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GlassyEyes" group.
