People love to beat up on WalMart, but there's something to be said for the
support of a major company.

In Texas the optometrist and the retail store *must* be separate entities,
but even so the WalMart eye doctors seem to have the latest and greatest
equipment, and the knowledge of how to use it.

Last WalMart eye exam I had even included a pressure test, not with the air
puff, but with the good stuff...the glass touch sensor with the blue light.
Can't remember the name of the equipment right this minute.

The local CostCo even does a visual field test.
