Both EyeBuyDirect and 39dollarglasses.com did refund my money. 39dollarglasses actually Emailed me a return lable to send the glasses back. They gave me a refund minus the shipping costs. I had to pay to ship my glasses back to EyeBuyDirect, but again, at least they refunded me the money.
Although I think EyeBuyDirect produces a good product, I'm kind of hesitant to order from them again because even though I reported the problem with the measurements to them and even sent a photo of the inside of the temple arm showing Vincent 50-18-140 and as of now, August 17, 2011, 11:55AM Central Time(US), their site is still showing the measurements at 50-20-144. I sent the glasses back almost immediately after receiving them and my refund was processed August 1. I need longer temples, which are hard to find both online and in brick and mortar optical shops, and wouldn't have ordered them if I had known they had 140mm temples. I have since ordered from GlassesUSA and even though I paid more than I would have at one of these other shops, I got a good pair of glasses cheaper than it would have been at any brick and mortar shop. I also found a 30% off coupon on through a search on Google that brought the price down to not too much more than some other online places. I've also ordered a pair of semi rimless single vision glasses from Zenni Optical. I just ordered them 2 days ago and they haven't shipped yet. I got the thin lenses, anti reflective coating, and a clip on sunshade for just under $38. It's the first time I've ordered from them, so I'm curious as to what the quality will be. I will post about it when I get them RedStickHam -- Check us out at the oft-updated http://glassyeyes.blogspot.com!
