The small piece of land in the top left hand corner is just south of Tokyo.
If Iota goes just above it, then Tokyo will be in danger. If Ioto goes
below that land, then damage to built up areas will not be so severe.

The TV program I saw was the last in the series of
"Journeys to the Ring of Fire" - Japan.  you can see a trailer from this

I think some of these BBC programs get shown on US PBS and elsewhere under
reciprocal agreements, so there may be a chance to see them outside the UK.
