| Bob,  I am an original farm boy.  Used to stay with my Grandparents on
their
| farm.  One of the things I had to do was milk a cow each morning and
| evening.  Later my parents bought a milk cow, so had to milk her all the
| time.  Later, when I was a senior in High School, I worked for a dairy.
We
| had to milk 150 cows every day.  Didn't do those by hand though.   I
will
| say that  was an udderly disgusting job, because I always smelled of a
| mixture of chlorine and cow manure.  Couldn't get that off no matter how
| much bay rum I poured on myself.
