Hi Couper I have recently purchased an Ercoupe 1946 415 D. I live in the northeast (Vermont) Yesterday was I flew for about two hours OAT was about 25 degrees and the coupe ran great. Here is my question; The Tempature gauge went to a little over 140 Degrees. I don't believe that this is high enough to get the moisture in the oil out. I notice that all the C-150 that are at the airport have cover over the cylinder opening that restrict the air flow over the cylinders that allows the oil temperature to go up to normal operating temperature. Is there any such thing for the Ercoupe with the original nose bowl? If so does anyone know where I can get one? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Nick Striglia N99154 ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?aVxiLm.aVzvvT Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
