Dear Friends.
The best documentation about the use of Auto Gas versus 100ll is the
one of Peterson Aviation.

http://www.autofuelstc.com/pa/petersenaviation.html

Reading these articles encouraged me to keep using Auto Gas in my
Ercoupe. I am flying ones a week and
could not discover any bad effects by using Avgas.
The tanks are clean , never had any signs of vapor lock, the spark
plugs are working at their optimum.
I lean at higher altitudes and on cross country's I try to find good
priced AvGas 80 . The red dye of
this marvelous stuff helped me discovering leaks before they became
real problems!
The articles on the website above mention somewhere that lead will
not be washed out of the valve
seats for 75 hours or so. I figured that due to my cross country
flights a sufficient amount of lead is
supplied.

The only problem is how to get the gas to the aircraft. I bought two 5
Gallon canisters which I fill up
on my way to the airport.
The tricky part is how to hold the canisters when filling the tanks so
you don't spill everything over
the walkways.
