The 'Coupe is MADE for short fields.  I very rarely take more than 1K' to 
land, even when I'm not trying to land 'em short.  The fellow who taught
me 
how to fly 'Coupes can land his in 250'.  I find there's no real trick to 
landing her short; when that wing is done flying, it's just done.  There's

no float like a Cessna.  If I come in at about 70mph over the numbers, I
can 
bleed off the speed in ground effect very quickly, put the nose down, and 
your done.

Can't comment on your speeds, as I'm in an Alon with a C-90.
