Hi, If people are going to comment on the NPRM for the Sport Pilot Program it would be very helpful if they would take the time to read the NPRM so that their comments would be based on the facts of the NPRM. In this case the problem is that there is no 2000 foot restriction. The restriction is the higher of 10,000 MSL or 2,000 AGL and this is not much of a problem for most cross country flights. If you are over the mountains who will see you if you are a little high just a little early. Have a good day.
