You can take them off and send them to a shop for ceramic coating. This is the best option, but expensive. The next best is to use a "High Temp" paint from a auto parts store. If you need some info on the ceramic coating let me know. You will receive a performance increase, but not enough to pay for the cost. Remember the functions of the exhaust. It is to take hot gases away from the engine and engine compartment. Thus, the exhaust should be painted white. This will prevent some of the heat from being transferred to the air around the engine.
