I have the Lowrance 100. It has more features than you will prob. ever 
use(like they all do). I would recommend you run it off the aircraft 
power(cig lighter) because the 100 has the dumbest battery compartment 
ever desiged, almost impossible to change batts inflight.It takes some 
study to learn to program a X/C route because a the instr. book is not 
the best and like a lot of computer stuff things are not 'intuitive' in 
my opinion. Craig 9772M
