Obviously, John's comments regarding corrosion should be taken very seriously and no one in there right mind would want to ignore a possible serious problem, but it now appears that an agenda of some sort is being pushed that goes beyond a genuine concern for aircraft safety, and it's awfully coincidental that this "Truth Teller' guy pops up at exactly the same time. Perhaps he has someone's ear, or a political connection. My take is that he got burned buying an airplane and rather than moving on like a man, he's chosen to whine and create problems rather than offer something constructive.. One thing seems clear from his extreame tactics and his appearance here - the guy's a bit of a nutcase. I personally will do all I can to follow Ed and Skip's suggestions, but starting tomorrow I'm also starting to seriously research how I can get my aircraft placed as experimental. We are supposed to trust these people (at the FAA who WE pay) to act in the best interests of safety and the public good. This is just plain stupid and it seems, perhaps illegal.
