I got back from the coupe fly-in in Mason today. It was a great time and appreciate all the hard work that went in to it. I think around 55 ercoupes a various kinds flew in. The only part that I thought should have been different was the maint. meeting. I heard enough doom and gloom to take care of me for the next few years. I understand there are problems and do not want them swept under the rug. On the other hand there must be something positive to say about the coupe. The other statement I found out of line during the meeting, by the presenters son was , "Out of all the coupes here, there are less then a half a dozen that are airworthy." There were three there that he had redone. A little self righteous I think. Beside that meeting the fly- in was well worth the drive. Thanks to all the helped.
