You have a static leak, which can be anywhere from the plumbing
in the wing (especially the rubber tubes which couple the pitot/static
lines
from the wings to the lines in the fuselage...you can see them by the
aileron roots), to the lines behind the panel, to the seals in the bodies
of the ASI, VSI, and altimeter. The readings will vary with the state of
the canopy, too.

Yep. The whole system leaks hot air. And even the fresh air circuit (if
you
have a separate one) blows warm because it runs through the cowl. Also, if
your firewall isn't insulated you get quite a bit of heat from the muffler
right through the firewall.
