Paul, Replace the fuel line from the header tank to the gascolator.  Then
take the old one and split it
lengthwise and look for any weak side walls, chafing inner wall, etc.
Before you cut it, pinch it from
end to end while rotating the hose and see if you can feel any 'soft'
spots in it.  Then dicect it.

Just a thought........
